| Well, as the selected few that know i am using the Skyrunners, and the little cheapo bushings have been shredded , so I thought i might try the service department for these Skyrunners. Talked to their rep and was quickly responded with the assuring news of replacement bushings. Now i am not sure if they will be the same ole plastic ones, or if they may send new brass ones, although i really don't know if they actually have brasss ones. I will just have to wait and see. They said they will send express post next day and that was on Monday the 12th. Quick response, but no follow through as yet. | |

| That's a really good question. From China thats what i know. Zhejanig province, or something like that. You would think it was a 4 day journey from the centre of the Earth aswell. | |

| Well i thought that it was time to check the ole" SR 80's" for an updated breakdown service report again. I wanted to clean them up a bit and so I took all the ole tape etc off and then remove all pieces. And i found that the bushings on the feet , aswell were shredded and so have definatley come to the conclusion that these plastic bushings are very crappy. I can't say that it actually is dangerous, as i'm sure you would think so, but they must of been shredded for a while , as these are the only ones that i didn't check and in summary they didn't really make any disruption or give myself any different feeling that something was majorly wrong. RESULT TABLE Broken -yes Crappy-yes Dangerous and life threatening -no Pure pain in the keystar-definatley As i removed the tape off the spring i was very unsure of what would await me. To my lovely delight and surprise they were in fantastic shape looked brand new under all that padding. But of course there can't always be a 100% satisfaction can there. On the bottom bolt where the spring fits into the foot piece and rest on that bolt bearing/spacer, it always looked like it was bulging or damaged taking to much pressure from the spring. And to my ungratifying eyes i found some small fragments of what looked like hard plastic, fiberglass? They just kinda of slide off nice and easy like a hard boiled lollie shedding a little sharp sliver of toffee as the wrapping comes off. I then felt this spiraling feeling in my stomach ready to find last nights unsavouries rushing around giving me a awful sense of what i was gonna find next as inevitable, a shattered spring?, will i find more shreds of this plastic/fibreglass?. Well no i didn't and happy to report i think it was just a small piece of plastic square that was placed on the spring so that there was a small protection layer between spring and spacer/bearing. I again can't bee 100% sure my evaluation is correct but feel confident , confident enough anyways that put em back together strapped myself in and was happy with the result. My springs feel great ,no sign of any misfire so has been given the stamp of approval. Thanx for reading from | |

| Nice work...
I'm so lucky....
The Airrunners dont have any annoying bushings or crazy bits and pieces...they are so simple yet wonderfully comfortable.....
